For research groups and institutions

Great research is a team effort.

Give your group one place to write and revise. Work on the same manuscript with your coauthors, from the first draft to the next revision.

Start with one manuscript and 2–5 coauthors. Tell us how your group works so we can discuss a suitable setup.

01

Bring your draft

Import your Word manuscript or start a document. Keep your research at the centre of the conversation.

02

Bring your coauthors

Create a group, invite your collaborators and give each person the access they need.

03

Revise the manuscript together

Write in the same document and check its text and references together. Each author keeps their own personal library.

Writing suggestions for your field and your draft

Personalised autocompletion can be trained on your own writing. Review each suggestion for meaning, accuracy and style before accepting it.

Use the assistant alongside your manuscript to ask questions and request revisions. Review suggested changes before applying them.

Personal libraries, references in the manuscript

Search for scholarly publications from the document and add citations. Coauthors can work with the references attached to that shared manuscript.

Each author has a personal library. Joining a group does not share that library with other members.

Continue a Word draft and export your manuscript

Import a .docx to continue working in Scraiber, then export to Word, LaTeX or PDF. Check the exported layout, equations, references and figure captions before submission.

Matching a manuscript to a journal is one capability among these: Scraiber holds the submission requirements of 7,239 journals to inform proposed revisions. Check the proposed changes against the official guidance. The journal pages are public, and so is the full directory.

Groups, roles and shared documents

A group in Scraiber maps onto how research actually organises itself - a lab, a reading group, a seminar or a course. You assign roles, control who has access to what, and keep the group's documents in one place instead of in a chain of email attachments.

Members with writing access can edit a document together. Group owners and admins manage group access; the organisation portal manages memberships and subscriptions.

Priced per seat, for a group

Seats cost 20 USD per person per month, and 16 USD from the sixth seat onwards. Organisation members receive Scientist subscriptions managed through the admin portal. Contact us for a quote and the applicable billing terms.

Tell us the size of the group and which faculties are involved, and we will come back with a concrete quote.
