What this search does and does not do
- One search returns at most 10 published documents. There is no second page.
- The register is matched on the title and the abstract of the published document, not on its full text and not on its claims.
- Results come from the European Patent Office Open Patent Services register and link to the full document on Espacenet.
What an account adds
Searching is the free half. The half that saves work is what happens to a patent once you have found it.
- Cite a patent where the cursor is, in the citation style the document already uses.
- The applicant, the publication number and the year travel into the bibliography and the BibTeX export with it.
- The whole prior art list leaves as a file, carrying the query and the date it was run.
